The Problem Of Conflict Resolution - 1023 Words

Conflict resolution would be one of the main factors to solve and to get addressed because your there to actually solve problems in the workplace. They can be solved and should be used using many strategies, from dealing with customers or staff members in the practice. When they are unaddressed they can go real negatively bad. For instance I work at Vet hospital, I notice a dog chewing on his I.V line, I then told a tech to solve this issue right away because that’s the dog’s health and that is real vital. If I didn’t address this issue the dog would be in poor health not getting the parental nutrition. The other effects would be that I would decrease the productivity in the workplace if I were to not say anything; it was at the end of the†¦show more content†¦Some of the main reasons why I see conflict in the practice would include that people are ignoring the situation, reacting without thinking, and complaining to others. I would say you would have to keep a positive attitude and master a calm approach being respectful among one another. One way to handle situations like these is too implement the â€Å"CALM† approach technique. Too me it would provide a high performance in the teams on all departments. Clarify the issue; address the problem, Listen to the other side and Manage your way to the resolution would represent the â€Å"CALM† technique. I can see this implemented to any institution because too me it is organizing everything in a way you can resolve the conflict and satisfy everyone. Firstly I would solve a problem by listening to see what the problem is and how I can help to resolve it. What happened? How it made you feel? How did it affect others? Those would be some of the main questions to address the problem. You would have to listen real closely to the other side and be open about the concerns without interrupting; Asking questions for full clarification. Break down what you comprehend and make sure your body language shows you’re engaged. Manage your way to the final resolution to gain a conclusion and don’t be so quick to judge. Gain full agreement that a problem does actually exists. As a leader you can arrange a meeting if the staff are having problems to see the
